Cocoa farmers all around the world struggle to make a living! that’s why Fairtrade aims to change the cocoa industry. With issues such as gender inequality, child labour, deforestation & wide spread poverty are common problems in the cocoa industry, but we must resolve this! Fairtrade cocoa farmers are paid a Fairtrade minimum price for their goods which acts as a safeguard when market prices drop, organic production is incentivized with a higher minimum price.

Fairtrade makes sure workers receive fair pay, better work environment & environmental protection. Fairtrade also helps improve the lives of communities and addresses global topics such as climate change.
