I have chosen to add in user evaluation to test the target audience for my augmented reality surrealism project. I have done this by asking others of their opinions & feedback. I have created a Word document to create a form of the good & bad of my AR experience.
I have interviewed a close family member of mine to review the Alice in Wonderland augmented reality experience. I have added various interview questions on the Word document that both include the negatives & what can be improved and also the positives and what is good about the experience. On the first question, I have asked how much the user likes the experience of a Likert scale of 1-10. The interviewee rated the augmented experience as a 7/10. This shows that in general the experience is good but can be improved. The second question was asking the interviewee if they feel immersed in the experience. The interviewee responded with how the environment makes the experience realistic meaning that because the experience is settled in an outside atmosphere and is further enhanced by the augmented assets which makes it more immersive. I have then asked for the negatives & improvements of how the AR can be improved further, the interviewee mentioned that the text should be slower so it is easier to read & some of the assets looked fake. Despite the interviewee rating the experience highly, he mentioned more detail to be added for more immersion. The final question was asking the interviewee what emotions did the experience evoke to which he replied with curiosity & fun.
