For this week task we have been made to find the best outcome of images using artificial intelligence, looking at AI software’s to find the best outcome of imagery and to understand and dissect the basic principles of AI and how it affects us in our daily lives.
AI (A.K.A as artificial intelligence) is a program that can act, sense as well as reason and adapt. AI can perform tasks associated with intelligent beings. This contrasts to the natural intelligence with animals and human beings,
Artificial intelligence can be manifested in many forms, these examples are:
- Some transportation software’s use AI such as for self-driving or parking
- Amazon Alexa is a voice controlled digital assistant. This software can give suggestions, follow instructions and answer questions.
- AI is also used in healthcare with companies trying to create technology to find
- Google uses dataset when the search bar has been fulfilled. It brings up a collection of images, text& media.
- AI can also be used for enhancing images and create unique digital art.
Social media is a prime example of AI & algorithms. Social media uses algorithms and collects data from your YouTube, social media and your browsing behaviour, therefore gets to know your interests. The performance improves over time when the software gets exposed to more & more information over time. Using these influences AI can predict search history, text and also advertise products most relevant to the user. This is done by searching viral trends online to target new customers and promoting brands. AI can also recommend you specific people you can connect with and generates the right in fluences.
Although AI has helped humanity in many ways there are also downsides to this new technology. This super technology can be helpful to us humans there can also be an underlying threat. AI can introduce the decline of employment; this is because using ai could be potentially better than employing a human as the software is more convenient.
Today’s challenge is to explore and use a digital art app created by AI, I installed the ‘Dream’ app from my app store to find imagery that is best associated with pollution vs purity using keywords to generate an ideal picture. Here are some outcomes found:
